After graduating from Indiana University-Bloomington with an English degree, I moved to New York City to pursue an editorial career. In 2016, I was hired as an associate editor for Spoon University, a food website that provides college students with a platform to share their own recipes and food stories. Eventually, Spoon University was acquired first by Scripps Networks and then by Discovery, Inc.

I was professionally trained in search engine optimization best practices at the corporate level, and in 2018 I began channeling my expertise into helping the industry’s top food bloggers optimize their content.
